Hello, I am Sierra - Photographer here at Maverick Photo Collective.

The cliche, nice to meet you I am a mama of 4 wildlings & obsessed with photography seems appropriate, however it doesn't feel like it's enough. Let's dive deeper, or rather try to. :)

17 years ago I feel in love with photography & started taking photos of my kids on my point & shoot digital camera. It sparked a love I've nurtured all these years. It was hard to figure out exactly what I wanted to do so I dabbled in all types of photography and found that my greatest joy comes from photographing families in every season of life.

I always wanted to be a Kindergarten teacher and just never got around to going back to college. Soooo, I have found a way to connect with littles through photography. Making it fun & exciting. I never want a child to feel like it's a job to get their photo taken.

I love all things Halloween & Harry Potter - I remember falling in love with the magic of it in 7th grade. There is just something about it that makes you feel at home. I hate shopping and love anything that sparks creative joy. I am in that space of life where I am finding new things I love and leaving things behind that no longer serve me.

As your photographer if there is one thing I would want you to know it would be to trust me every step of the way.
